A027 Neolithic Sanxingdui jade sculpture (Height: 26.50cm)

The large-scale jade sculptures of Sanxingdui, with hands on knees and knees bent, also originated from several twists and turns in Western Asia, and finally spread to Wenchuan area of Sanxingdui in Guanghan with the sculpture style of Sanxingdui bronze figure, becoming the most prominent art style, which is quite different from the art sculpture style of Central Plains.

This large-scale jade statue with the western style of Sanxingdui is also a liquid coating made of pyrite on the surface, with beautiful gold color on the whole body, which is deeply featured by the special fashion of Chinese jade carving in the past dynasties, and is not common in Central Plains jade carving.

The jade man is light and plain, but on the top of the head is carved a human like figure with only the upper body and arms arched (the body is smaller than the person below). The face of the big jade man is not from the Central Plains. It should be a feature of the West Asian people. This statue is a normal human face. There is something carved in its chest and abdomen, I don't know what it is; its hands press the knee, and sit down with the knees bent, the front ends of the toes close together, the whole instrument can stand up, whether it is used for worship or sacrifice is difficult to recognize! This kind of thing seems to be the sacred thing of ancient ancestors. Its unique style and fashion of each instrument seem to be unexpected, amazing and unparalleled! It makes people deeply respect the creation wisdom of their ancestors, which is enough to make people proud, and worthy of aliens!
