B005. Dragon-shaped Short Dagger-shaped Jade Ornament
(Xia Dynasty or later. Height: 7.12cm, Width: 3.65cm)
Green jade, bright and shiny, reddish brown. At the top of the short dagger is a beautiful dragon-shaped urn. This jade dragon has a proboscis-shaped perforation behind the neck.
The jade dagger is a type of jade weapon. Jade weapons have been unearthed in the Neolithic Age. The upper end of this jade dagger is carved with two parallel lines.
Dagger: One of the earliest hieroglyphs engraved on each side (fish-shaped) seems to be the earliest.
The other side: two characters intaglio (text to be verified)
This instrument is wonderfully conceived, and decorated with high ancient times and feels fresh and beautiful. This is very valuable and unique. It proves that the creation of ancient jade sculptures is ever-changing and memorable. This is the cuteness and preciousness of ancient jade!
