N004. Green Jade Mountain (Ming Dynasty,AD 1368-1644 )Height: 21.80cm; Width: 13.30cm

Hetian green jade, yushanzi sculpture started in the Ming Dynasty, not seen in the previous generation, only produced in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the number is very rare!             This yushanzi: according to Jia Dao, a famous poet of the Tang Dynasty, the poem "no one can find a hermit" is the blueprint: "Ask the boy under the pine tree and answer that the master has gone to collect herbs. In this mountain, the forest is very deep. I don't know where he is!              This jade mountain sculpture: the mountain is towering, majestic and precipitous, full of vigorous pines and cypresses, verdant and green, full of vitality; a pavilion is built on the top of the mountain, with a nest of three tongued snakes at the top right of the pavilion, together with a turtle like animal (it is estimated that the implication is the incarnation of the Taoist Xuanwu God, Taoism prevails in Tang Dynasty, and so it is in Ming Dynasty), a pavilion is built in the middle of the mountain, and a downward one is built at the bottom right of the building There is a big cave at the foot of the mountain, with a stairway built on the right side of the cave. The ladder goes straight up the mountain and disappears in the mountains. Two people are carved in the cave. One is the elder who wants to see the hermit. This is based on the work of Jia Dao, a poet of Tang Dynasty, which is based on "the memory of a hermit never met".

Behind yushanzi, there are cliffs and crags. The rocks are craggy and dangerous. There are thousands of them! The back of the mountain shows the natural and simple atmosphere of the rock by using the rough skin of the simple jade. It can also be called ingenious work. It can make the best use of everything and reflect the real side of the nature!

This yushanzi should be the thing of Taoism. The turtle and snake meet from the top of the mountain, which means the most respected Taoist God of Taoism: the incarnation of the Xuanwu God of the North emperor. In ancient times, the hermits were mostly the hermits of Taoist cultivation. It is said that yushanzi is also a Taoist Canyu family, and is used as a mountain (Baoshan) for Fengshui. Most people believe that Fengshui is the best! However, it is rare for a house to carry mountains. According to the subsidy method, jade (ancient jade has a good spirit) can be used as a mountain, placed behind the master's seat, and can also be used as a great support for people! This is the consensus of ancient people!
