C028 Jade Tiger (Length: 8.68cm; Height: 2.58cm)

The round sculpture, the whole body of lime, has become commonly known as "chicken bone white", while the tiger's back part appears the color of the original jade. The whole body is still shiny and moist; the body grows into a square column shape, lying down, with a square head of the tiger looking forward, a large round hole in the square ridge, two parallel small holes carved on both sides of the mouth, and the eyes and the back ears are connected to form Mushroom-shaped, and the tail end is rolled into a circle, and there is a hole in the circle to wear.

This jade tiger: The same shape as the "Jade Tiger" decorated with cloud motifs unearthed from the tomb of Lady Hao, but this jade tiger is light and non-grained, this is the only difference.

The ancients called the tiger the king of beasts, so there are more jade tigers, but their forms are different and amazing! Although the jade tiger was unearthed in all generations (but not in the Neolithic Age), the earliest excavation was found only in the jade tiger of the tomb of the women of the Yin and Shang dynasties, so this jade tiger became one of the earliest relics.
