C017 Large Jade Qibi (Widest: 19.70cm, Diameter: 16.80cm)

Jade Qibi has been found in Neolithic age, such as in Shenmu county of Longshan culture. It comes from stone axe, which is used for tools and also as hunting gear and weapons. When the edge of an axe is relaxed, it becomes a "Yue". When teeth are added on both sides, it is called Qi. It is for the purpose of binding the axe. Later, for the sake of beauty, the number of teeth has increased and changed a lot. In the tomb of Fuhao in Yin Ruins, a jade Qibi was unearthed, which is famous in the world.

Small jade Qibi (also known as Yabi) can be used for hair binding or high decoration. On the other hand, this large-scale Qi wall has a ring of convex rhombus on the edge of the hole wall, with a thick body and Qi teeth on three sides. It seems to be used to block evil spirits and suppress evil spirits. It's a symbol of awe and majesty! Very rare!
