E72 Double Dragon Head Jade Huang Ornament (Length: 10.53cm)

The chin under the dragon head and the moustache under the mouth form an axe (a feature of jade carvings in the Warring States period). The angle is cloud pattern. There is a hole in the upper part of the central part of the jade Huang that can be worn. The lower part of the two dragon heads have holes to wear, which can be used for the jade honing function on the full high string ornaments.

Jade Heng: it's the part that bears the main role on the full set pendant ornaments . All the Pei ornaments on the full set pendant should hang under it. For example, there is a hole under the dragon head at both ends of  jade Huang (it can also be called "Jade Heng"), which is used to hang various kinds of pendulous jade ornaments, such as: Jue-Yu, Bin- Bead, Huang, Chong-Ya, Cord , etc. Such a string of ornaments is called "Quanpei"(full set pendant ornament), that is, the so-called gentleman's "pendant ornaments". "Hang": the explanation in the book of  "Shuowen" (Words and expressions) said:"Wear jade to show etiquette and behavior. "When a gentleman walks, he should have a certain pace and speed.

The jade ornaments he wear are all high. The sound of collision is also regular. When a gentleman hears the sound of jade, he can set feet and control his speed and pace. This is the use of jade Huang (Heng). The upper hole in the center can be worn with rope.
